The focal blur plays stunningly with the complexity of the textures. And I really like the dramatic light source changes between the sides and center. This is a very dynamic piece, and it came out wonderfully.
reminds me of some sort of wierd dark alien planet. The name you gave it reminds me of that too since they usually categorize the solar bodies and such in numbers. Otherwise love the detail and lighting!
It makes me think if the nine cirkles of hell from Dante's Inferno. Lust comes to mind, especially, but so does Gluttony for some reason. Probably because both are organic and "fleshy" in their nature.
Very beautiful indeed! Though I think it could use less saturation in the green bgr, to give the sense of depth more intensely. And maybe if you used a little bit of sharpen in the foreground (not in the blurry bits) and more dark shades closest to the viewer? Again, to give the illusion of immense depth. Not that it's not working as it is, really, but hey, I'm only saying.
